For some instruments, there may be an option for a 'buy it now' price. With this, the seller will walk away with a payment either cash or bank transfer.
When this option is available, we look at the condition and re-sale value of the instrument. The buying price we offer is conditional on the amount of work needed to get into a sellable state and the estimated time that the instrument will be on the shelf before sale.
Often customers get less money than that of a 'sale on commision' but the customer does not need worry about the instrument again, nor do they have to wait untill the sale of the instrument.
As a responsible retailer, with any cash sale we require a copy of photographic ID which we hold on file with the purchase agreement of the instrument.
Sale on Commission
For most instruments, a 'sale on commision' is offered to the customer.
At Bexley Brass, we charge 15% of the selling price and any charges required to get the instrument into a saleable condition.
Once your instrument has been put through the workshop, various adverts are put together.
